E-signatures

Get documents signed on any phone, with a clear record of who signed.

Your customer opens the link, confirms who they are, and signs with a finger, a mouse or a typed name. PaperPaid keeps the signature with the exact version they signed.

Signatures you can stand behind

  • Draw or type

Customers draw their signature on the screen, or type their full legal name and it appears in handwriting.

  • Who signed, and for whom

Before signing, the customer confirms their identity: for themselves with the name on their record, or on behalf of their company with their own name and title.

  • Tied to what they saw

If a document changes while the customer has it open, they're shown the latest version before they can sign, so a signature always matches the numbers they saw.

  • Locked after signing

Signed contracts and approved estimates can't be edited. The signature, the signer's name and the time appear on the document and its PDF.

How it works

  1. 1

    Send the document

Email an estimate or a contract. The customer doesn't need an account.

  2. 2

    They confirm and sign

A short popup confirms who is signing, then they sign on screen.

  3. 3

    You're told right away

You get an email, and the signed document is locked in PaperPaid.

Questions and answers

Do my customers need to download anything?

No. Signing works in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer.

Can someone sign for a company?

Yes. They choose to sign on behalf of the company on the customer record and add their own name and title, which appear with the signature.

Is there a limit on signatures?

No. The free plan limits how many documents you send each month (3), not how many get signed. Paid plans send unlimited documents.
